Idea for the LSU/Ark game

I've been thinking of something to really make the LSU/ARK game more special. Yeah, I know, we have the boot and all, but really, we all know that's not that big of a deal. I was thinking something along the lines of a big cook-off.
We obviously take our cooking very seriously as we do our tailgating, but I'd say the Razorbacks fashion themselves as some pretty big outdoor cookers as well, BBQ for sure.
What would you think of a big cook-off between LSU and Arkansas fans before the game, maybe calling it “the world’s largest cook-off” or something of the sort? I know it's usually played around mid day, and TV might interfere, but I think we might be able to work around that. What do you think about a big cook-off between the two proud cooking fan bases with judges to hand out ribbons and such? I think it would make for a heck of an atmosphere leading up to the game, great food, and might just develop into something really substantial and lasting, having a little more meaning than just a gold boot surrounding the game.

Not me, I'll sleep off that turkey and rice dressing by then.

The cookoff sounds like a good idea with the exception of it being near Thanksgiving.
Of course you don't have to pig out (pardon the pun) to have a good BBQ. Of course in Arkansas we are pretty fond of Cat-fish.
Mini-boots to the cookoff winners?

We could probably pull this off with hog fans, but definitely not Alabama fans.
They'd poison the food.

This is a damn good idea. My buddy that I tailgate with every week would be all for this. He is a regular at the BBQ cook offs around the area. We actually have one in Laffy in a couple of weeks.
