I'd take a one point victory...

I'd take a one point victory from here on out. If we win every game by one point, we win the national championship. Think about the teams we would have beaten by the end of the year and their rankings, the team in the SEC championship, and the bowl.
Let's not over-analyze; let's just win.

MSU will be another ugly win. So the bitchfest on here will continue. Brace yourselves.

Not really would still need Texas, Penn State, and Cal to all lose for LSU to make national title even undefeated.

They don't play our schedule.

And they would still have to lose for LSU to jump them.

If LSU beats No. 1 Florida by one, and No. 3 Alabama by one, and No. 4 or 5 Ole Miss by one (not to mention Georgia and Arkansas and Auburn) and then we beat Florida again in the SEC championship, at a minimum, we would be playing one of the teams you list in the "big game" and if we win by one, we win it all.

Why because Cal/Texas/Penn State all have ranked oppenents left? If they finished undefeated and look better doing it they will stay ranked ahead of LSU.
Either you do not know much about their respective schedules, or you believe where people are now is where they are finished.
Florida/Bama are probably locks to stay in Top 10 when we play, Ole Miss is not a lock.
Cal still has 3 current Top 25 Teams on Schedule
Penn State has 2 current Top 25 Teams on Schedule
Texas has 3 Current Top 25 Teams on Schedule
LSU has 4 current Top 25 teams on Schedule
If you believe that 1 point wins will have us jump other undefeated teams that are winning by 10+ points and look dominant in their games?
Again like I said on SEC Rant, LSU fans fail to formulate an opinion they resort to name calling and this is a prime example.

If you think they would let an undefeated SEC champion be left out of the BCSNCG after the SEC has won it the four out of the last six years, with us winning two of them, and us beating Florida probably twice who won the other two, you are crazy.
If LSU were to win every game, and that is a huge if, I can't see them leaving us out.

An undefeated SEC Champ is virtually guaranteed to play in the big game, until they start to lose those games. It doesn't matter if there are eight other undefeated teams.

we got 3 teams that are top 4 teams still to play. if you win the rest, how do not play for MNC.

Auburn 2004 was before the SEC was established as the toughest conf in the nation. Florida OSU changed everything.

Again I understand the board is biased as we are discussing LSU but a 1 point win especially over teams like Mississippi State, La Tech, etc will not help them with pollsters. Yes beating Florida/Bama will look good but if other teams are undefeated and winning by large margins it helps their case. Many people who fill out their polls only look at boxscore and while margin of victory was taken out of BCS, it still plays a part in how people fill out their ballots. LSU has so far won 3 games and only moved up 2 spots in 1 poll. Winning by 1 point in every game rest of the season will not exactly help that especially if like I said those other teams stay undefeated and win by larger margins.

Texas loses to OU. Penn State loses to either OSU, Michigan or Minnesota. And Cal loses to either USC, UCLA or Washington.

That is the mistake that is now being rectified. We have already been the recipient of the process' penitence after the 2007 season.
