I know that is why I left out the sarcastic part. I just wanted to expound on my reasoning I am a proponent of improving the passing game and creativity i just think its too late for that now.

We should try and get better within the framework of what we do. We screened USC to death. It was a thing of beauty. I think we will similarly attack Bama's aggressiveness within the framework of what we do. If we go full air raid, the protection won't hold up, the defense will pin their ears, and we will lose.

Balance and unpredictability will help us. If we want to run the ball three times, I'm ok with that. Let's just mix up the formations and the play call a bit to help spring our guys. When we run out of trips, for instance, we have gashed opposing teams.

That makes no sense at all. Sounds like you need to go cheer for West Virginia then.

Totally agree. Just saying that if pounding the ball up the middle isn't working, then maybe you do something different.

If LSU does the same shite they've been doing for 4 years, Bama beats us by 21 again.

2008 = L 27-21
2009 = L 15-24
2010 = W 24-21
2011 = W 9-6
L 21-0

21 point victory was an anomaly. If we play the way we have for the past 4 years we should either barely win or barely lose.

Sure, but it's not like we weren't trying to get the vertical passing game going against A&M.

That's our style of play, run the ball and throw deep. We're not going to turn our offense into WVU's.

At some point common sense does prevail.

Well, since you said

I'd rather be creative on offense and lose by 50...

It is implied the other option is the opposite, i.e. being vanilla, but winning. Which would mean we did the same thing over and over...and got different results.

Winning is all that matters. Please kindly remove yourself from this world.

guess you forgot we're 2-2 in that time frame

Definition of Insanity

your definition is so over done it's pathetic. and you stole it at that. i'm gonna say maybe there should be a new definition of insanity; an LSU fan that is ok with losing to bama by 50 pts. just as long as we are "creative" on offense. of course, this idiot that calls himself a fan gets to define "creativity".

you might look up other other sayings that apply, how about this one.........."it is better to keep your mouth shut and people think you the fool than to open it and prove them right".

how creative do you expect us to be and still lose by 50?

This is maybe the worst post I have ever seen on this board.

I am very happy to hear this. The Rant sometimes brings out emotions (and words) that strike the very heart and soul of every devout LSU fan. I truly believe that all LSU fans want the same thing, victory. Some just don't understand and are frustrated with what they witness on a given Saturday. And criticism is not very well received. Justified or not.
