The playcalling was awful last night as well. I think we ran more option with Lee during his one series than JJ had the entire game. So basically, we completely attempted to reverse their roles in game 10? This is just frustrating that we're dealing with this right now.

If you think you are frustrated about all of this crazy QB play, just think of poor Nutt and petrino....

Got it.

All year long people clamored for more deep passes. They finally get it. JJ goes 8-14 and 170 yards, and we have 200+ yards rushing and people are upset say we looked disjointed/lost.

The TOP is bc the defense gave up 15 first downs, we lost an offensive possession to a KR fumble, and we a 60 yard TD pass and a 45 yard TD run. Big plays = less TOP.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!

Jefferson plays with confidence, Lee doesn't. This team is better with Jefferson.

I disagree. I think we are better with both, depending on what the defense is doing.

the team is better with Lee when they are playing a defense he can exploit, but better with Jefferson against a defense Lee can't. JJ's problem is he won't throw the ball when he should, Lee's is he throws it when he shouldn't.

My biggest fear is teams have the offense figured out...vertical routes, runs up the middle. Last night appeared to be a chance to work on some stuff and give upcoming opponents something to think about. Fretting over games like this through the years has proven to be pointless.

To note, at no point in this entire thread did I want to give off the perception that I favor one quarterback over the other. Both have flaws, and we're better off having both of them play significant snaps in each game. My problem stems more from the play calling and choice to seemingly move entirely to one quarterback over the other. There are spots, last week against Bama, where I completely agreed with the staff's decision to give JJ the majority of the snaps. I also felt that the increased snaps against Tenn in the second half with JJ was necessary with Lonergan's injury because we weren't getting great push in the middle and needed a running option on the outside. I've also felt there have been times this year where Lee's play has been just as important.

Maybe it was practice, maybe the quarterback play was an aberration as Miles may or may not have indicated tonight. That is all.
