Meh....status quo......we've have not seen any real improvement in 6 week...in fact there has been real regression...I am not optimistic at all!!

Yeah we were one play from beating moo st. But moo st was playing scrubs. They beat our arse for 3 1/2 quarters and a almost comeback discredits that? Auburn raped our souls. No discussion. With our high dollar staff and 5star recruits we shouldn't get destroyed by anyone. Losing a few close ones would be understandable.

They definitely were not playing scrubs....if they were, Mullen should be fired because LSU was one play or 30 seconds from beating their arse by ONE.

Yep but lets start with the excuses saying "we were only play away from beating state" and of course "our only two losses so far are by two top five teams"

I don't think so. Especially on the defensive side of the ball. We are who we are at this point. Weak up the middle with a decent secondary. About the only thing we can improve upon would be tackling. The good thing is Florida is not an offensive Juggernaut, so we should be able to hold them to 20 or so. Assuming neutral on the turnover side.
Our offense is where the variability is. If we can hit some good passes off of play action and run the ball well we can score 20+ on Floorida and win! That Florida Defense isn't bad though.
We had better win this game though if we want to get to 7 wins. I see us splitting with Kentucky/Arkansas and pulling an upset against Ole Miss. The rest of the games. Forget about it.

Those are facts Chief....if we had played the way we did in the fourth quarter, we would have maybe beat them. And almost did anyway. I was proud of our young ones after that game.

one of my favorite posters on the site....he always seems to have a good pulse on the LSU program....him and Dukke V make a good team...
