No he wasn't. Go back and watch that Tennessee game. He could move for a guy his size. He wasn't really a threat to run, but he was faster than Mett.

I think it'll look more like 07 than 06, but have its own identity. Jennings kinda reminds me of Flynn, and like 07 the OL should be pretty experienced, but WR corps inexperienced (opposite was true in 06). looking forward to it.

A scrambler at QB (Jennings)
A dominant bowling ball runner (Magee)
5 star starter/backup (Fournette)
A 4.3 speedster (Boo/Brazil)
A dominant OL
A JUCO WR showing out (Leslie)
A redshirt freshman showing up (Spears or Diarse/Peterson)
A very active TE (Gordon or Smith)

We averaged 75 plays a game in 2007 (31 pass, 44 run). People like to say Flynn was dual threat, he gained 404 yards (lost almost 200 of it on sacks), and four touchdowns.

We were a perfected Les Miles type offense but with Cam and a better QB (Flynn had a horrible 56.3% cmp, and Perriloux's 68% couldn't make it much better), We should be able to match those results with less passing. That team attempted 442 passes for 3154 yards which is a pretty low 7.13 ypa, Flynn being the problem at 6.68 ypa. Going back at finding this out, I think we could have been much better with Perriloux starting.

Anyway. Jennings averaging 3.8 ypc on 100 carries (same amount for Flynn, JJ 112) would net him 380 and somewhere around 9.2 for ypa on 300 passes (12 games like JJ and Mett) would net him 2760. Add 2.5 total TDs a game, and I could really go for this as a regular season total

12 games 3140 yards 30 TDs. I could see Jennings passing over 3000 yards with the bowl game and rushing over 400 yards. He's going to have statistically the best season for an LSU QB in history!

That's ridiculous. Russell gained 282 yards on the ground in 2006. Mett gained 35 this year
