So, you don't care about our actual results improving in terms of Wins and losses and competing for championships as long as it looks better? Did I misinterpret that? I mean, you did say "most of all"...

it didnt even look better. 9 miles years scored more ppg than 2017 and they had a senior qb and returning all sec rb.

But you’re taking an 11 year career selecting the best seasons and comparing it to 1 single season and one coach’s first season. If you really wanna make a fair comparison compare their first seasons offense.

Total offense
2017- 412.1 yards per game
2005- 374.1 ypg
Scoring
2017- 28.1 ppg
2005- 29.5 ppg
Passing efficiency
2017- 155.3
205- 136.6
Yards per play
2017- 6.3
2005- 5.6

Plus 05 had the better roster, weaker schedule and an OC who’d been here for years.

No no no....I said Miles gone + a decent QB = success.

We havent had that yet. And were in this predicament thanks primarily to Miles. The man couldnt recruit and train good QBs...you cant argue this.

this is the weakest schedule we habe played in years.
we have 1 win over a team with less than 5 losses.
6 of our wins is over a team with at least 7 losses.

Says 28.1 here and 05 schedule was weaker than this years. Not saying the team is better of course but it’s a 1 win difference at this point and we’re comparing the offenses not the team accomplishments.

byu- 9 losses
Syracuse-8 losses
Florida- 7 losses

We’ve had weak schedules in the past, 96 was twice as bad as this years, 05 was just as bad or worse and 03 was slightly better but this season is the first time schedule strength has ever been brought up. It’s never once been discussed until this year, i wonder why?

For the 900,000th time, it's not O's fault we had a weak schedule and no one says it is. It's just hard to make any definite conclusions about O, good or bad, from a 9-3 season against that schedule. There was some bad and some good. Some positives and reasons for concern. How we close out this recruiting class and whether we take a step forward next year will go a long way to answer whether O is our guy.

Points scored this year
27
45
7
35
21
17
27
40
10
33
30
45
That’s 337 points in 12 games that’s 28.1 ppg Rick cmon.
And this years SOS has dropped from 2.5 to 2.29 since Auburn lost to Uga but will go back up after Notre Dame still after our last game of the regular season was better than 05 which is 2.48.

Serious... Ricky brings it up in every post he makes....

But whatever... When have I ever said O was the right hire???

When have I EVER said the losses to Troy and MSU were NOT acceptable???

He is the coach of the Team I root for and I will give him credit when due and cut him down when its due.......... Just like I did with Miles........

We played five interim/fired coaches in those years?

Regardless, can you see any other difference between this year and those years?

Perhaps finishing the regular season with only one loss and being ranked in the top 5 in those seasons had something to do with the difference in mood, no?

05: 10-1 regular season
17: 9-3 regular season

I’d say that’s a two loss difference, but I’m not a blind shill

Through 12 games 05 was 10-2 right now we’re 9-3 that’s a one game difference. But keep failing at gotcha and deflecting it suits you because yes you are a blind shill.
