Why is is that everyone said in August we we were going to beat Bama this year, contend for the NC, etc, etc, but now we're not in their league? Injuries? Over-evaluation of talent?
With the exception of LF and Weathersby, we're playing the same guys...

This team will only go as far as the O-Line lets them. I think the rest of the schedule will put a lot of pressure on the running game and Etling because the O-Line is underwhelming.
The coaches need to put a big priority into bring in studs on the O-Line. It is the one position that falls behind the others when it comes to recruiting.

I think it was an under-appreciate for what Bama would bring to the table with so many players graduating.
Nobody expected Bama to have a true freshman QB demonstrate the poise and skills he's shown against top teams. Remove that QB from the quotient and suddenly any discussion with the name Bama back at the beginning of the season was very different.
Then consider the number of TDs that Bama's non-offensive units have scored this season. Another factor that wasn't present the beginning of the year.

Seconded. Especially the health

Are we in Bama's league even?
Yes. We're literally in the same exact league.
Bama hasn't played anyone with the front 7 speed we have. Hurts is good and moves the offense because he's able to run. He's no better than Etling through the air. Keep him in check and force him to throw and the turnovers will come.
