It’s clear Deculus is not going to be either LT/RT at the next level. Don’t even know if he would get drafted. His biggest weakness is blocking speed

He has one more year of eligibility left due to COVID. Let’s convince him to stay and see if he can bulk up to play Guard. I don’t think Ed Ingram stays. Hopefully we upgrade at OL Coach too because Cregg can’t develop shite

He's gone man. He reached his ceiling. I'm happy for his service.

He'd be 23 next draft I don't think he wants that.

I see you haven’t paid attention for the past 3 years. The Joe Moore award winning O line should be thanking Joe Burrow more than James Cregg

Wake up and do some fricking research

We've all made comments like this I have too. Every single year.

I remember people saying Trae shouldn't have left he is now and was a day 1 start for panthers.

Same with pocic.

Anthony Johnson and others shouldn't have left but it is what it is.

Did y'all here Maason Smith tonight he said "I'm going to be spending the next 3-4 yrs at.."

LSU has got to change this culture.

Bulk up? Have you ever looked at Deculus? He makes the rest of the OL guys look small. Size and strength is not his problem. He just doesn’t move his feet well enough to handle NFL speed. I would like to see him try at guard next year too and let Dumervil or Wire take over RT but I’m sure Austin is ready to move on. He’s been here a long time.

He should go. He is a road grader. The NFL will test him at the combine to see if he can pull. If he can, he’ll be a fourth or fifth round pick. If he can’t he should stay and work on a degree.

Which NFL teams is Joe Burrow associated with? Didn't realize a Heisman winning QB picked NFL O Lineman for various teams.

The problem with Cregg is that development is very uneven. Too many guys come in and never progress at all. Are they poorly scouted or poorly developed? I trend toward believing the later. We also have worse than average attrition on the O Line.

In fairness to Deculus...he came in and played 4 yrs. at the position they asked him to play. He will sign as an UDFA...get some practice squad run and then who knows...

His next level chances are at guard.

At guard, he’s hell on wheels.

I’m not sure he can get low enough to play inside effectively.

Unfortunately I do not think Deculus could play guard. Have you seen him run? Have you seen him try to get to the linebackers on a running play ?
He did a great job while he was at LSU and we all salute him for his consistent and steady play at right tackle. So glad he won a few rings while he was here and a Natty. Would be great if he returned and battled for the right tackle spot again next year as I just don’t see him playing guard in college or at the next level.

Man, he got blown up on that 4th and one vs. Bama...I mean badly. Lot of those types at the next level.
