AU lost its Oline, all SEC running back, its best CB and pass rusher. It is not as good as last year. Our D is at least as good, likely much better than last year. We now have a good qb. If the zebras dont screw us we have a good chance if we play well.

LSU record in last 5 at SEC stadiums:

4-1 Davis Wade
3-2 The Swamp
3-2 Kyle Field
2-3 War Memorial
2-3 Jordan Hare
2-3 Vaught Hemingway
1-4 Bryant Denny

You are trying to refute my original argument that Jordan Hare is not a uniquely tough place to play for LSU. Well, if Jordan Hare is an impossible road venue for LSU, then I guess so is Ole Miss, huh? Or Little Rock, correct?

Jordan Hare is just another place in the SEC. Every road trip is tough. There is no special difficulty in Jordan Hare for LSU in recent history. There was at the turn of the century, but luckily, we're not playing then. Saban couldn't win there, a juju that has followed him to Bama (he's only 3-3 at Jordan Hare in his Bama career, the only SEC stadium he does not have a winning record at).

This. I was not impressed with LSU's win over a highly overrated Miami team. Our offense is still horrible, whether-or-not you want to believe this, and how many touchdowns ended up as field goals (at least we can make those this year)?

Not one person has said it's an impossible venue. People have said it's a place that LSU goes into and struggles to play well in. The 2012 game is a perfect example of that. 10 win LSU wins 12-10 over 3 win Auburn.

Also, ignoring the fact that LSU only has 2 wins over Auburn teams with winning records in the stadium is disingenuous. It shows that if the teams are equal, or close to, JHS becomes a very, very tough place to win.

I’ll be very surprised if we can steal one on the cheating arse plains.

LSU has won two of its last five games at Auburn and they needed divine intervention to win the last time we played there. Jordan Hare is tough, but it's not some LSU torture chamber. We've done pretty well there, considering.

No, we have definitely not. We've only won there when they were awful.

- Too early in the season
- Auburn is really good (didn't have a good QB either time we beat them at Jordan Hare), and that DL is stout. WR corp is on par with Miami's, but they have experience.

I still see that as a loss, but I think we improve after that and beat UGA at home a few weeks later. Don't see us beating Bama. They finally have a passing game to go along with their run game and defense. We haven't been able to come closer than 10 points since 2014.

steele has never shown the ability to consistently field an elite defense. he's had one every now and then. if history is any indication, the luster will wear off. the question is if ensminger will be the one to start the trend.

aranda vs gus/lindsey? aranda all day every day.

special teams? advantage lsu.

intangibles - lsu seems to have a special chemistry right now but an essentially new offense and coordinator will have a tough time beating this auburn team at auburn.
