Just saying how great it is to be a lifelong fan of a team that is now 10-0 and on the cusp of its third national title in less than a decade.

I know.

I feel you. 8-3 or 7-4 was a stellar season growing up watching LSU.

Dinardo brought back the magic.

Rantards are the guys that tell little kids that Santa Claus is a pederast.

Hell yea, I was freaking elated. Beating Saban (& his 6-4-1 team) made it even sweeter.

I don't care who you are or where you have been - that was one of the best football games I ever watched.

That was awesome. My freshman year and the magic was def back. I still remember Eddie kennison coming to my corner of the stadium and waving the LSU flag. Also the Michigan State super fan painted green and wearing boxers and an inflatable helmet.

Highlight of the season for me was Troy Twillie intercepting Nix to beat auburn.

I went to that game in 1995 and loved it. When we hear people say the good old days... Well these are the good old days. Nothing done in the Deitzel, Cholly Mac, Arnsparger or even Saban eras can compare.

Enjoying the ride and hoping it will last. I am sure the Florida fans would tell us to enjoy this time.

Of course but why did beating Saban make it sweeter?

shite I remember being thrilled that we beat Miss St. Our only excitement in the game was Eddie Kennison on special teams.

I have been around a long time. I agree with most of these posters, I remember we were happy with 6 or 7 wins. This years team is 1 or 2 of the best teams we have had at LSU. The 58 team was right there with this team.

Oh don't read too much into the Saban part. Just threw that in there as a fun fact, as they were both 1st year HCs w/ 6-4-1 records.
