Exactly, Nuss has regressed and he's playing his worst as a fifth year. He doesn't seem particularly serious and there are rumors about work ethic. And that's a shame because he probably has more raw arm talent than Burrow.

Nuss would’ve been highly sought after in the transfer portal so you can’t blame the coaching staff on that one. I can blame them for the trash we see on the field though.

I think Nuss is a byproduct of a shitty OC. You can't have dismal play calling then blame Nuss for not executing it. Nuss regressed significantly under Sloans tenure at OC.

Believe it or not Nuss's QBR is higher than Marcel Reed. Look it up. The o line is the real problem. While Nuss isn't a dual threat, he has his strengths. This is just the worst o line LSU has ever had, IMO.

I really think the plan was for him to leave after last year and turn the reins over to Underwood. After that didnt happen they had to go all in on him and give him the Big $$. He knew it, didnt put in the work like Daniels and Burrow, and you have what we presently see,
