he would have been 100% on that drive except for some drops.

Was I the only one that was PISSED at Lafell and Dickson for missing those 1st down catches? I texted a few people "CATCH THE GODDAMN MOTHERfrickING BALL SENIORS!!"

Anyway, I loved how Jefferson played on those final 2 drives. Especially knowing that any mistake(pick/fumble) and it would have been game over.

not at all

the problem was we didnt run a god damn sneak

the snapped it, then jj took 2 steps left, then tried to run. come on, just snap the ball, and fricking fall forward behind the center and guard

This is only in retrospect. I be almost 100% of us thought we should go for it. With as much as we dominated the 1st half, being up 13 would have been huge. And you've got to think your 6'4" QB can get 6 inches.

No, when we made the decision I thought it was the wrong move. Not egregious, and an understandable decision, but I think it was the wrong move given Georgia's difficulty in moving the ball up to that point (and for the rest of the game, for that matter). Not to mention our questionable OL play throughout this year.

The D got put into some bad spots and short rest and responded beautifully. Just as their GL stop was a turning point for them last week our offense can build off the final 2 drives

I just want to see some adjustments made to help out the O-Line. Keep a RB in to block or put in an extra lineman at TE every now and then to give JJ some thime to feel comfortable and throw the ball.

Good job overall, especially getting the team ready to play on the road against a ranked team after a week of the media and fans shitting on the team. YOU go and try to motivate a bunch of teenagers under those circumstances.

The 4th-and-inches sneak by JJ sucked IMO and the last minute of the first half was a Bayer aspirin moment, but we found a way to win despite 12 or 13 sacks and some other ups and downs.

Thanks Tigers for a never-say-die performance, y'all rule.

he had like one play where he got stuffed

I know that. He wasn't getting negative yards, but besides that one long run, he was just getting 3-4 yards a pop. But so was Scott.

and before anyone says it, he didnt fumble,

I agree it wasn't a legit fumble, but he was picked up and slammed down. Physically, he's not ready to be pounding the ball in between the tackles. Which is where 100% of his runs have been so far.

45 seconds left and you can't kick a FG or throw a pass into the endzone? That's poor playcalling, clock management and execution.

Make no mistake, it was terrible, and I was pissed. But shite happens. For me, it doesn't take away from the job they did the other 59 minutes 15 seconds of the game.

if you can't get less than a yard with a big QB and big RB, then idk, that's something you have to get

I agree. It was the right call. You just have to get it is all.

The plan was great. The execution not so great, but spot on when it counted. Miles ia a better special team guy than Richt and it showed when it counted.

Good game altogether, but they should have backed off the JJ option package. He looked like Dan Marino would have looked trying to decide to pitch or keep in the face of an oncoming LB.
Obviously the option is not his forte, but I think a lot of that was the game plan based on what they wanted to expose after looking at film of Ga. One play I would like to see JJ run is a QB draw. The defense is always expecting him to roll out, the draw would be a surprise, I though it was open especially on the missed 2 pt. conversion...

Dont see how anyone can be satisfied with the ball on the opponents 40 with 1 and a half min to go in the half and you run exactly ONE play.. Then you just run it into the locker room. uhhhh yea how is that good coaching?

While I agree with this, I still think we were much better this week than we have been.

They are going to screw around and get Shep hurt; the whole defense knows exactly what is coming down. Sitting duck.

So I guess Miles is going to let him jump back and pass, when the game is on the line against Gators.

5-0...speaks for itself. I do think we have an outside shot against Florida. Especially if Tebow can't play...thought I wish only the best for him.

Great game...they didn't lay down. Love em.

I personally think that all this "call the play at the line" is terrible and funks up the flow of the game. If you want to run the no huddle then do it... Don't half arse it. huddle otherwise. No more of the handoffs to scott standing there in the backfield. Ok, we scored on the last one.. the other 12 went no where. Let him get a head of steam or at least don't let them see him get the ball 8 yards deep in the backfield... REAL easy to spot that as an LB. I cant stand the little out in the flat passes.. throw it downfield...

we have much to improve no doubt about it

but when you can say you aren't playing close to your best ball and can still win on the road at a tough venue....things are going nicely

It wasn't, but if somebody goes 4-5 with 1 strikeout did he have a bad game? There are 60 minutes in a football game. Was that 1 minute at the end of the half so egregiously fricking bad that it made the entire rest of the game moot?
