How soon we forget last year. Bama fans started woofing after barely beating Arkansas and it just got worse after they beat Tennessee later on. Remember how the media jumped on the bandwagon after those games? They were back off quickly after the ULM debacle. And here we are again a year later in the same spot.
I don't care who you have at OC, a poor decision maker at QB is a poor decision maker at QB. Coaching can only do so much. Parker WILL make game losing mistakes (remember a certain fumble last year in your own red zone?). These freshmen will not play like this in every SEC game, especially road games. They will eventually wilt under the pressure. They are freshmen. That's what they do. Bama will be better than last year, but I bet a lot of their fans are still pissed at the end of the year because of over inflated expectations.

Riiiiight, history has shown Bama is not too afraid of playing in TS at night.
That hasn't been the case lately. LSU is 3-1 against Bama in TS since 2000, I believe.

Everyone is getting excited by one game. We play them late in the season. They have had 2 great recruiting classes, but it will take 2 more just like them to restore the kind of depth that the rest of the SEC powers have. Just remember how many LSU starters either lost time or played hurt last year. Even though we did lose 2 games, that depth that has built up over time sustained us through the season. Bama doesn't have that yet. Look at what happened to Bama, Kentucky, and South Carolina last year. All three started off with a bang because they have good starting lineups. As the season wore on and injuries and fatigue set in, however, those teams faded down the stretch.
With Saban at the healm, Bama will have the type depth that we have in a couple of seasons, but that won't help them this year.

Everyone assumes Bama is going to return to the power they once were. Don't you think teams like Nebraska, Miami & Florida St. are wondering about the same thing?? For all of Bowden's high recruiting classess @ Convict Univ., they have been out of the limelight for several years now. And just like Saban said, that LSU was winning with 'his players', we can tell him the same thing- He is winning (if it continues) with Shula's players. Screw Saban...

I love the fact that Bama is getting so much "praise".....
Why just drink $aban Kool-Aid when you can swim in it?

If Saban could win at Michigan St, pull LSU out of mediocrity and build them into a national power team, why shouldn't he be able to do the same at Bama? IMO, by 09 Bama will be back in contention for a BCS Bowl.

It doesn't mean you are scared to acknowledge they are in comeback mode. They bought Saban - we know he can win the big games - and brought in a highly touted recruiting class because of it. They have momentum, spark, whatever you want to call it.
But I am not scared of them. And you can be damned sure Les and our boys are not scared of them either. They played a great game Saturday in front of a national audience. I give 'em props for that. But come November, I don't want to give them nothing but a good, old-fashioned arse whoopin'
