I saw flashes of his 2016 self for the first time this season. Really fighting for extra yardage and making strong contact when necessary. Anyone else notice this?

Hopefully this leads to a breakout game next week against a bad Ole Miss rush defense!

Showed up at the end of Florida too. He’s always given the effort and I think he’s finally getting healthy.

I don't think he's there yet but boy, he ran hard and when he is 100%, the long runs will happen.

Guice looked a little better than he has of late, but our running game from the RBs has been pretty mediocre the past few weeks. 73 attempts for 248 yards in the Troy, UF, and Auburn games. A few jet sweeps have been the difference though.

I'm not sure if teams are selling out to stop the run and that's freeing up the jet sweep, or if we've just hit a few big ones and it's more of a mirage.

We will really need him and Key to get back to 2016 form over the next couple of weeks.

Guice has been nicked, apparently, he is starting to feel better.

Ole mrs should be a breakout game for him. Run it right down their deep throats, all day.

I loved that we passed it to him on a big 3rd down late and he got it. We should be doing more passes to him where he can build up some steam. The jet sweep worked very well with him as well. Keep mixing it up.

If we didn't score that last TD it would have been on him. He missed the hole and ran into our lineman. Not sure what has happened to his vision, maybe he will continue to get back I the game now.

what I've noticed is that our OL are not opening many holes. our RB's are getting hit by the time they get to the LOS and fighting for a couple of yards.

there's no doubt that Etling and our passing game has garnered no respect so yes they sell out to stop the run. yesterday, we made AU pay for that. I haven't seen that in ages and it was sweet.

its weird as hell, but it looks like our new and young OL were better at pass blocking than run blocking
