This loss was squarely on Baker in his 3rd season who got absolutely torched by a half ret@rd who's never been a head coach and a guy in his 3rd game as OC at OM. If I were the boss, he would have some extremely uncomfortable questions to answer about that blundering performance. He only gave up 24 last year to Kiffin/Weiss and that was with them having full continuity of staff/roster.

The offense played well enough to win the game with just mediocre defense. The misplaced criticism on this board is astonishing. This was 2023 all over again. The defense stopped basically nothing. What stopped OM were their own mistakes. OM fans all around me were complaining about Chambliss' passing, with good reason. He was inconsistent at best.

When we needed a stop, the defense let OM drive the length of the field in crunch time, execute a QB keeper that everybody in the stadium could see coming a mile away, score a TD, didn't even hold them to a FG, offsides on 2 point, offsides again, gave up the 2 points to add insult to injury. Totally pathetic effort. 24 points in the first half. They weren't tough enough and they weren't disciplined enough. Unacceptable.

And for people complaining about the offense, we've seen 3 weeks in a row now where the offense made halftime adjustments that paid off. Now we don't know if we can count on the defense in crunch time for the rest of the season. Hoping this was an isolated incident.
