He gave good credit to lsu. He went on to say that bama May be in the top 4 tomorrow but “I couldn’t imagine a scenario that they would be there later” he stated. Moreover, he says he couldn’t fathom “ how lsu, Ohio state and the Clemson baby tigers could fall out of the playoffs. He cautioned that while Michigan should not be able to handle Ohio state, that it was a worrisome game for the buckeyes. I was pleased with his compliments on lsu and shocked that he didn’t prop up his gump alma mater. Just FYI

I rarely listen to Paul Finebaum, but I’m listening today. I can’t believe how much praise he is giving LSU and coach O. He just pistol whipped a bama fan as a sore loser that just called in.

Yep. That’s amazing. I don’t listen to him either. Reece Davis is a good analyst but such a homer. He did good work this evening on a national show. I was shocked!

I’ve been saying Pawl has praised LSU a lot this year

When he was in BR he said he loved his time living there and it’s one of his favorite places and he loved the people.

Said today he genuinely was happy for O and LSU fans. Said they deserved it.

He reminds of Charles Hanagriff. About as unathletic as a guy can look, but extremely knowledgeable about all things sports.

I've enjoyed The Packer and Durham Show on the ACC channel when I've gotten a chance to watch it in the mornings.

Hard to believe pawl said those things. I believe it, just not used to it! LSU deserves much credit for sure!

Yessir! Pack man has a helluva gig. Well informed guy. He gets to do all that out of his basement I’ve heard him say! Says he walks from his bed to his office. Heck of a deal

Race isn't as bad as tRant lets on. I never paid much mind to him this year, but he seemed to be mostly impartial all season, and he has consistently had LSU ahead of Alabama on his AP balot since I believe the Texas game.

Rece has given us props in the best, especially in basketball. It's not football, but still...
