I really appreciate what he’s done and don’t want him fired, but I would like to see him succeed and a fresh mind come in.

Nobody's going to do that. If he were that good it would have already happened.

I can pretty much guarantee you Yeskie is only a pitching coach because Yeskie only wants to be a pitching coach.

His career has certainly been "good" enough for him to have taken over a top tier P4 program by now.

He’s already said a few times that coaching pitchers is what he likes and isn’t interested in being a head coach.

Welll, if this year's pitching staff is a result of his teaching pitchers how to pitch, it is way past time for him to take a HC job or retire. He has never been worse than he was this year. LSU has no pitchers of top SEC calibre.

That and there’s a reason nobody else comes after him for their pitching coach.

Except the times that Oregon State, Arizona, Texas A&M, and LSU did.

A former player told me the rumor is that Yeskie is retiring after this season. If true it would explain some.

They can call it what they want, but most of us know he is being fired.

as he should be just like any other coach that performed as poorly as he did this year. I wouldn't be surprised if hadn't checked out a while ago.
