and I feel like LSU, for the first time in my memory, may have the advantage in that facet of the game!

LSU - 12

UA - 9

I will take 3-0 (1-0) happily!

People around here talking about moral victories and that we don't need to win this game it's already a game of moving the field goal post.

Are you like 12 years old? We've had some pretty damn good kickers over the years. The last few years have been a struggle, but that hasn't been the norm at all.

Hope so and very well could be. BUT. Auburn will run the hurry up all day long. 90 degrees at game time and hotter on the field.. Our depth may save us, and be the difference, we are going to need it. Auburn will score. We have to hold them to 17 points or we lose. I do not see us scoring more than 2 TD's and maybe add 2 long field goals. 20-17 Tigers.

I see 5 LSU field goals . Add two touchdowns and 29 should be enough to win.

Well.. we do still have to get into field goal range.

Our defense and special teams can get us good starting field position. Just need to get at least a first down or two to spell the defense.

So I am guessing that you assuming we get some very short fields on the defense forcing some turnovers, some special teams magic in the return game and Von Rosenberg/Growden punts.
I honestly can't see us having 7 sustained drives deep into Auburn territory.

i wish i could go back knowing what i know now for sure but no a little north of that....

i remember the days of good kicking don't get m wrong but it just feels so long ago...we could have had 3 more wins last year with a great kicker...including the bowl game.
