No, I want to put a guy in that I know for a fact has 10 times the passing skills as DE. I've seen it. You can see it at practice if you can attend, I've seen it in game situations and I know what he will and can do. By the same token I know what DE can and will do. The only way you gonna beat Alabama is through the intermediate vertical pass by loosening up the run defense. Other than the 50/50 bombs that DE has thrown, which will not work against Alabama, tell me what he has done in the passing game to CONSISTENTLY move the chains? I don't care who the quarterback is I'm just stating a fact that without an accurate, consistent and immediate passing game that complements LSU's running game we have no chance to beat Bama. You can go to the bank on that and I am as an emotional Tiger fan as the next guy.. But I do live in REALSVILLE!!

Alabama is the #1 ranked run D in the country. They allow 66 yards a game. It's not my opinion they are great at stopping the run. It's a fact. Again this is the third time with your hyperbole. I didn't say "no running" I said it won't be successful. I didn't say "no swing passes" I said the swing passes to Darrel won't be successful. And I sure as shite didn't say "no way Alabama bites on PA." Are you capable of making a post that doesn't include something that you literally made up about my previous responses?

1. Downfield passes vs one on one coverage. Basically what Ole Miss and Clemson did each of the last 2 seasons. We need to throw the ball more than we run it.

2. Etling. If we have zero points in the third quarter as we did last year, let the freshman throw it around.
