about my beloved tigahs but we may be one and done in the NCAA, for this reason...the refs will probably allow it to get more physical down low,to our disadvantage.......not hate for LSU but reality.

It matters on the matchup, IMO. If we get a team who has a big man who is similar to Varnardo (good on both sides of the court), we're in trouble. I know we beat State two out of three, but Varnardo went wild each time and another tourney team would probably have another inside threat or two that State doesn't.

Not able to live with reality or unable to take the purple and gold glasses off?

I agree, just think officials tend to let things go in the tourney...and the more physical the play is down low the less of an opportunity to win. imho

Maybe CJ can put on 75 lbs. before the tourney.

I think a better statement would be that LSU is not tough enough down low to last in the tournament.

I think we're kind of in agreement, but I don't think it will be the refs' fault.

LSU peaked 4-6 weeks ago. If they can find a way to get back to that level, they could win a couple of games.

No, that's not it. People just get tired of some toolbags coming onto a message board and confusing the words "opinion" and "facts" or "reality" in your case.

LSUphreak
At least have the courage to state your reality or opinion, about the thread, before you castigate others for their opinions, so a real debate might ensue...or maybe you are afraid of your opinion and its safer to hide behind dispairaging remarks that have no substance.

The game today was no more physical than the previous 2 which I was fortunate enough to witness live. The 2 big differences today were the disparity of calls favoring MSU and a half-dozen outside shots we were typically draining until the Vandy game. Consistency in officiating and knocking down a few wide open shots will give the Tigers a fighting chance in any game. As for today either of the two things happening changes the outcome. Neither did and thus a loss.

It shouldn't be as bad in the NCAA as in the SEC, where in this tournament it was as physical and run amuck as I've noticed... really since every ref let 3 players foul Shaq before they brought their whistle to their lips.

I don't think we're one and done. It'll depend on who we draw but our guys can play. If we have a bad shooting day we lose.

I think they will have something to prove and win at least one.

In my opinion... in these last 3/4 games we are slipping out of our strengths and making our obvious weaknesses more obvious.

Spencer has got to get under control. We can rebound offensively with anyone if we take good shots. And, I think we can play either tempo. And, if we take good shots, I think we can make over 40% fgp against anyone.

But, Coach has a job to do b/c we are not under control lately.
