So by your logic
07 Curtis Taylor >>>>>>> 06 Laron Landry

Because in 07 we won the BCS. Does this work for all the players?

he was still heads and tails above pretty much every QB in the NFL in terms of talent

Yeah, but the 11 players on the other side of the ball is what I was referring to.

this has, literally, nothing to do with comparing the 2 in college
the OP's original assertion was using yesterday's performance by Flynn as a final measuring stick. I agree with him.

who is a better QB: RG3 or JJ?
RG3. But he's sitting at home thinking why is he playing on such a shitty team that allows 50 points in a meaningless bowl game. JJ is preparing for the NC.

but this is irrelevant. if he's still more talented than the other QBs going up against the other 11 players, then your argument holds no water.

look, you don't just talent your way to an almost 70% completion rate an 9+ ypa against SEC Ds

ok

so we can discuss the quality of teammates with RG3 v. JJ?

are you saying wins are a team stat?

Again, if this 2010 team loses they will be a mere footnote in CFB history, the team that wasn't. Lots of talent but didn't get the ultimate prize.

So every year that LSU doesn't win the NC they should abolish all the stats and records of those teams, cause they are losers. You spoiled much???? BTW You suck as an LSU fan.

You are using the laughable transitive property to try to compare things in sports. This sounds like Cowherd's show all of a sudden. No, I am saying that talent wise yes of course JR was better, but Flynn has had more lasting success, has better memories, and championships under his belt. Can you read my post?

Nice straw man. No, I'm saying they won't have a championship, it really isn't a difficult concept to swallow.

OK I see what YOU are saying. FLYNN is the only reason we won the Title in 2007. GOTCHA.

I can, but I am tired of you hijacking the thread. The discussion for everyone but you has been about who was the better college player... Flynn or JR. You evidently don't like the outcome of that discussion, so you continue to change the subject to things that deviate from the original point.

LaRon is playing in the NFL at a high level. JR isn't.
