I Got 12-0 this year.
That about sums it up best.
Lots of drunk mf'ers on here spewing blatant cheerleader homerism. I don't know if you geeks really believe what you write or just like stirring up the pot or and like seeing your name in lights up on the marquee..........

So, if we go 9-3 or 8-4 does anyone think Les is on the hot seat?
Here we go.......
Do you really think a 9-3 season in the SEC from a coach 2 yes removed from a NC puts him on the hot seat?

But I see Tebow as a high draft pick and he will play QB in the NFL.

and will be successful.
I don't foresee this. The heroics, the speeches, and all that "I'll carry the team on my shoulders" crap is not going to work in the NFL. It is business and he will be put in his place.
If he goes a high pick, that will only be because of his popularity.
12-0??? Please! We will surprise some teams. I'll be heavily optimistic and say we will have at least one loss.

I think he just doesn't wanna see a loss
I admire the love though as well
If I had to pick which game we'd lose, I'd say give me a loss to UF in TS and a win in the rematch in the SEC championship; I'd quite enjoy trying to get my happy arse to Pasadena :D

Agreed, if our defense improves (please God, do not make me sit through another season of that defense) and we can have consistency at QB (please God, let us have consistency).
Good news is we have a reliable TE (best friend of a young QB) and a RB core with good experience.
My worry is the WR core, while we got LaFell back, we have a lot of inexperience, but I think we'll be okay overall.
As much as I'm looking forward to Florida in Death Valley at night, the Georgia game's gonna tell us a lot about this team.

they need someone to step up quick to take away the presseure that will be on Lafell.

At this point I have carefully considered the past 4 years and confidently predict 10-2. 2009 is a brutal schedule and I think 10-2 will be hard fought.
But consider this, Florida and LSU are permanently scheduled (east/west div) and yet have one 4 of the last 6 national championships.

Like all the favorites this year I believe that LSU is loaded with talent. The thing that needs to happen is for this team jell early and come together as a team. If this happens we have a special year. Some people are saying we don't have this and we don't have that and we need more Sr's and Jr's, but, I say all we need is the right chemistry and this team can have the year of their lives. 11-1 for the year and a win in Atlanta would be great, but, 12-0 and a win in Atlanta would even be better. So. If you wishing for one or the other then why not the undefeated 12-0 and the win in Atlanta and go for number 14 for the BCS Championship? I say the latter 14-0 all the way baby!

Why not...
It would be one of the most amazing thing in sports HISTORY if LSU goes 12-0 with a soph QB plaing in the SEC!!!!

At this point I don't see a loss either...but that is why they play the games on the field not in fantasy land. There are four games on the schedule we could easily lose.

the Georgia game's gonna tell us a lot about this team.
Without a doubt. A lot of our fans think because they lost Stafford and Moreno that they're just gonna roll over and play dead for us. Wrong. Georgia has been good every year since Richt has been there, and it's hard to win ANY SEC road game, much less between the Hedges. Not saying we won't win, but if we do, it will be a very, very good win. And a very good indicator for this team's future success.

When was the last time LSU had an undefeated season? The answer is 1958. That was 51 years ago. The SEC is too good from top to bottom. Its not happening.

No, I don't think he would or should be on the hot seat. I am just curious on how many would say that he would be.
