Miami had some talent on that roster when Richt came in and he brought in some big time kids in his first class. They went on a run last year and then lost three times and ended the year on a down slide...but this isn't just a fluke. While I do believe that they are not as good as they are hyped to be, the point is that they will be soon enough. The ACC just lost Jimbo and has one count em one team worth a damn in the entire conference. Clemson is in the opposite division as Miami and so is FSU for that matter. LSU has got more talent at each position in the 2-3 deep that they should be able to just get into the second half and pull away because Miami just doesn't have the players that we do that deep. But in terms of the starting 22? Yeh Miami is good. They're real good. The big difference is the defenses overall strength...LSU will field a unit that might only give up more than 17-20 points a couple of times all year. I expect the defense to be top 10 in scoring and total yardage like most everyone else does as well. Miami will be hard pressed to score at all in the first game of the year where offenses usually are still behind while defenses are always farther ahead. This game is probably going to be an ugly one that features very little scoring overall and a lot of mistakes from both sides. Miami just isn't good enough to weather the storm. Now if lsus offense comes along, then Miami might get beat by 3 scores and get embarrassed. That's all on burrow now.
