Because these are the exact same issues that Brian Kelly had for the past 5-6 years at Notre Dame and it's always a rebuilding year with Kelly. He always looks to next year. There is never THIS IS THE YEAR.

It is on coaching. Special teams coaching and 3 down couldn’t get off the field coaching. We will learn from it and hopefully improve.
