I really think this was a BAD hire by TN, but time will tell. Dude was FIRED by the Raiders. After he was fired, their play improved. I don't think he needs to come into the SEC and kow-tow to the older coaches ... so his brashness or whatever is fine -- he was hired to win at TN, not please the other coaches -- but pulling sh!t like telling recruits to lie to other SEC coaches is going to catch up to him.

Lame has crossed the line several times. If he shuts up, and his RECRUITERS INC. can snare some big names, the fan base will overlook the L's purely on adrenaline. It may give him an extra year or two on hope and change alone.


ps Living in Tn. Several positives, but the best is being able to wear my LSU gear and look into the eyes of UT fans and see the Voltears.

It will be a long year next year, we are weak on the O-line, no QB that can play in the SEC. I'm also thinking Al Davis wasn't to awfully crazy. Seems Kiffin is alienating a lot of people right now by telling 4 star recruits he does not need them, and then talking about people in Florida like they are some kinda crooks. I do not think he realizes yet that Tennessee is not a fertile recruiting bed for high school football. The only wall he seems to be building around the state, is to keep recruits out. Sure he is going to get a few, because they can see a depth chart, but I really don't ever recall a lot of recruits from the West coming in and helping us out tremendusly. Except for the drug dealers coming in and making a littler money or the premadonas that usually end up leaving to go somewhere else. Well look forward to talking with you guys, I think this Kiffin tenure may not last long, but will seem like an eternity.

You sure can't give your opinion on any of our boards. You have got to be a sheep. Outermonvolia has turned to being the Kiffin butt suckers and it use to be a fair board when Fatamus was coach.
