What Kiffin said was no more harmful that what the hat said about saban at last year's or the year before that recruiting bash.

I think Coach Kiffin would win a few though, before he had a chance to say anything. When you are new on the job, don't pretend you know more than the old employees that have been around the block a time or two. That is my main problem with this coach. Wasn't that long ago that he was at his senior prom. With his dad being a good coach, he hit a triple without even stepping in the batters box. He was a cheap hire by the University. They just give him a little more money to spend on a staff. Kinda like he has always had.

No, but at least Miles already had decent track record as a head coach, a year under his belt in the SEC conference coming off a 11 win season and had been a head coach in the Big XII with quality wins there over a much better team(s) in OU...

I spoke with an NFL coach this weekend and asked him about Kiffin and was told that the guy is a weasel and they originally wanted Cincinatti's head coach. Monte can only do so much and supposidly he's a good guy, but Lane is apparently what i thought...a hot headed little brat.

I disagree. LM did not misquote the rules and call out another coach on a recruiting violation, he just said we have a new rivalry with f'n Bama.
