Yeah, you're right... there was that big season adjustment last year that turned into 8-5.

I also liked that adjustment where West Virginia choked and turned our team into a two loss national champion.

And what makes you think they will do it this week???? I will put it this way. Not to be a downer, BUT AU crushed MSU, LSU got lucky against MSU
Nebraska CRUSHED ULL, LSU struggled with the cajuns
Vandy is pure garbage. UGA is no cupcake which LSU has struggled with.

I would too if there were any reason to. Instead, I see what I see: a very bad football team. Of course, I could delude myself and believe that what I see isn't real, but what good would that do? The ton of bricks that is the reality of this team is still going to fall no matter how much we wish it wouldn't.

Something we all loved has died, and we're all going to have to work our way through the grieving process. Some of us are just further along than others, and have passed the initial stage: denial.

I guess that WVU choke was also the reason we whipped OSU...and that had USC come to play us instead of OU we would have lost that game in 2003 also. College football is about survival just like life. Not one play, one quarter, one half or one game. Its about a season and the journey. With you philosophy we should have never won a NC and that we are going to battle Tulane for state dominance. Be a real TIGER FAN or return all you LSU gear and move on......4 and 0 and you have already cashed in on the season....

OK, maybe I am blind. Please point out any adjustments that have improved our teams during any of his four previous seasons or during any part of this season so far. I'd be happy to be enlightened.

What LSU team under Les Miles had major problems, then solved them and got better (while there was still time to salvage a good season--i.e. not for one mid-level bowl game when it was too late)?

PJ, all true, and LSU COULD go 4-8. But, I do not see the complete lack of hope that many seem to be projecting. I see, and chose to see, the potential for continued growth. And I support our team no matter what. The coaches and players all want to win as badly as we fans want it, and I trust that they are trying to get it done.

I am not here to hand you a pair of glasses. Purple and gold or otherwise. If you don't see it, so be it.

I have hope CC. I want LSU to win MORE than anybody. AND as a passionate fan I can also be objective. And I don't like what I see.

PJ, I thought of the same thing when I heard the Oh La La score last night.

Sorry gang but we're in deep trouble.

UNLESS the O-Line can pick up their jocks and play with some fire.

Can't argue that PJ. I don't either, just not ready to throw Miles or the team under a bus.
I said "uh" oh as loud as anyone after seeing the Washington and ULL scores. We ahve lots to do before the Florida game, but I think Georgia is in the same boat.
