I haven't heard anyone in the media say anything except they expect LSU to play in the BCSNCG. And we still have to play Ole Miss, Arky, and UGA. Seems like respect to me.

Right. People are blindly assuming that we're going to beat 2 top ten teams in our remaining 3 games

They will simply say that we couldn't have stopped an offense like either Oklahoma or okie state. And say how crappy it was that there was a rematch. And then try to claim that the SEC is overrated.

I really don't think it will happen if Oregon wins out. Most parts of the country, especially the West and East coasts, want to see fireworks on offense, so Harris voters will do as much as possible to get a PAC-12 or Big XII champ in.

Bama is the toughest team we've played, and they would be the only legitimate option to beat LSU. This would only make Bama fans and those that want LSU to lose happy. Then again, it raises the question, should the 2nd best team from the same conference play the conference champ in the title game. I guess we'll hear chants of "SEC...SEC..." all damn game. Most fans around the country don't want this and would prefer 2 different conference champs playing in the title game.

I want a new team to play, like OU or OSU. In the end, it doesn't matter who we play. It's how we play. I'm ready!!!

We should walk away if we hit 13-0 and tell the world that we beat everyone in the Top tier - season over.

No need to rematch.

It's simple. A LSU/Bama rematch would provide the best ratings, therefore; they are trying to push for the matchup
Don't buy into this. Why would ESPN try to push a game for ratings when the game will be on FOX sports? It's all based off opinion, and I really don't think ESPN and other media stations are influencing those opinions as much as people make it out to be.

Yeah, thats it. It wouldn't be because the offense we ran in the 1st 8 games looked like shite against Bama.

did you watch that game? did you notice that neither Bama nor LSU did anything on offense? did you notice that Bama's glorified QB threw two picks as well just like Lee? did you notice that Jefferson didn't turn the ball over simply because the offense was in "safe mode" the entire time he was in?

ONE game does not mean that the offense that had dominated every game before it or Jarrett Lee is busted and should be changed especially considering the fact that they played against a darn near NFL defense. Take your Jefferson homer glasses off and open your eyes. The dude was struggling last week against Western Kentucky High School for the love of God.

The best ratings in Alabama. The majority of the country fell asleep early Nov. 5.

well the media was on LSU's side for the first 8 games of the season until Miles decided to fix something that wasn't broke. now they are confused as to which offense is going to show up.

the just run around every time with a quarterback playing in "safe mode" and hope something works offense

or

what worked in the first 8 games with a legit quarterback offense

While I do think this may have something to so with it (the media is well aware of Miles' man crush on Jefferson), I don't think it's the only reason. They are acting as if the Bama game either didn't happen, or worse that it doesn't matter, simply because the team they thought should've won, didn't.

Miles will help sort this mess himself. He will decide which offense he wants to go with. If the run and around and do nothing "safe" offense is the route he chooses to go, we will not beat either Arkansas or UGA, thereby removing ourselves from the BCSCG equation.

my fault. I typed it wrong. 1 pick by the glorified Bama QB and another pick by their scrub. regardless the point is that neither team was going to throw the ball in that game.

are you arguing that is false? that neither team was going to throw the ball in the Bama/LSU game?

Well we have to play someone. Bama is the best of the rest.
They gave us our closest game. It makes sense.

I disagree...
Why should Bama get a second bite of the apple, they had their shot...and at home!

I think the second best team in the country, that we haven't already beat, should be who gets the invite.

Of course, that's assuming we take care of business and win out....
