No big. How bout that UConn, huh? Jeez...they are un-sucky.

Yeah, I had to stop watching with 5 minutes left, it was just painful. But this was good for the team, they need to be challenged and beaten to prepare them for SEC play.

Well LSU certainly has some work to do before the SEC part of the season starts.

But what the hell, it was good experience...

That's funny. I had never heard that quote. Poor Dale.

I'm pleased the thread has reverted to basketball. I don't think this game means a lot to LSU re: the SEC. U Conn is a damn good team that is a little underrated, and LSU has a good chance of doing well this year in its conference.

It was a tough game, but absolutely need to play teams like that (plus whoever loses the next game in the consolation round) to prepare for the season. Plus, this kind of exposure (even in a beating) is just good to get your name out there.

Right. I feel like we would have had a much better chance to compete if our bigs had stayed out of foul trouble.

I was born in Newport, Rhode Island and grew up in NYC and Santa Barbara, California.

I won't even tell the rather obvious Tennessee dentist joke.

Dude, give me a break for not knowing the guy. I started this post to comment about his commentator skills, not intending on it to go to the bullshite it turned into.

Trent Johnson certainly has his work cut out for him. Best of luck, Trent. I'm sure this team will turn out fine if not this year, then next.

True. The first half when they had to come out is really when the damage was done. Still, it didn't help that we couldn't hit ANYTHING from outside.

It'll be an interesting year, for sure.

Thank god for that "hindu" Governor. You guys in Louisiana actually got it right for once in a long time. The leftists were running your state into the ground....
