with transfer portal, the quicker you get rid of the coach, the quicker he can rebuild. firing him early can get them a head start on coach search and any state mandated listing time.

Reason McMahon is in this situation is not enough money is interested in buying him good players. Who do we hire (don’t say Will Wade) that would open up the money spigot for men’s hoops when we’ve got football demanding so much right now?

I agree and posted this in the another thread. I think they have decided to use money elsewhere and men's basketball is on the backburner to Football, baseball, women's basketball and Gymnastics
