To clarify, I think Jordan Jefferson gives LSU the best chance to win. He actually has the highest ceiling in the QB race. I just have a really bad feeling about where this is heading.

JJ has higher ceilings than the other QBs? Are his 12' ceilings?
Posted on 8/22/11 at 8:19 pm to Tigersomething
Well I think Mett has the highest ceiling, but he won't reach that ceiling in two weeks. I just don't know if JJ will ever reach his full potential, or even get close. His numbers suck. Even in practice.

I never knew people actually thought Jefferson did more things well than Lee. As a QB, your #1 priority should be the ability to throw the ball. If anyone can hook up to a lie detector and say that Jefferson throws the ball better, they are insane. Lee had a bad freshman year. Jefferson hasn't improved since his freshman year. Neither are all Americans. But Lee is a QB where Jefferson is a glorified running back who doesn't even do that exceptionally well.

I heard he threw 8 punches and only landed 1. 1 for 8 just won't cut it in the SEC!

I think there is about a 1% chance that Jefferson plays.

Okay...you and your 100 posts know how to make dumb one liners up. YOu are part of the reason we are in this mess!

We had hypothetical "how do we get Jordan out of the game" threads last year...there are shirts of him throwing the football in the ground and 10 yds over WR's heads...
We have 2 ABLE QB's in the wing, who cares if JJ is in the game or not! If he is, great, if not....it only took us 3 years to get a REAL QB in place.
Get a life, we will start a QB in Dallas...he will be a TIGER! Enough said!

How many games has Shep "won" for us by making big plays?

would expect the offense to be JLee handoff and naked bootlegs mixed in run off the JLee handoffs with shotgun passing on obvious passing downs
This is what makes me LOL. Lot of these kids saying we will be a running team now. You do realize that JL is a much better passer right? You do realize taht with him at qb as a RSF we finished with the #51 total offense in the nation...compared to JJ's #102 and #82. You do realize JL led lsu back in a couple of games last year BECAUSE of his ability to pass the ball....you do realize that against bama with the game on the line and 3rd and 14, Miles brought in JL who completed the pass for first down and ballgame.
It's funny as hell (and shows your intelligence) when you make posts like this saying you expect LSU to run-run-run now with JL. JJ is a terrible passer and liability on anything more than 3rd and 3.....geez.

You are either kin to JJ, or just stupid. JJ is horrible. It is not possible to have a worse offense as LSU has had the past two years under JJ. Maybe as bad, but not worse. It's not as if we are losing some stud. JJ is not even a decent mid major qb...much less sec qb. I hate how it happened, but I have much more hope now with JL, and mett backing up, and possibly magee running the wild tiger.

We win by at least two touchdowns!
If he plays, we win in the closing seconds of a confused filled, lack-lustered, game, with much clock management, questionable calls issues!

Appreciate the real comments. I actually think the not having Russell Shepard would be a bigger loss than Jordan Jefferson. Jordan and Jarrett simply bring different things to the table, but Jordan simply does more things well. My
i personally think we're going to lose a bunch of rushing yards we would have had if JJ could have been there to run that option to the short side of the field. now we may actually be forced into having a potent offense

Yes as long as Lee doesn't throw a couple of pick sixes

can LSU win this game?
2 players do not make a team.......yes LSU will still have a chance with or without them.....

I'll be delighted when LSU has quarterbacks with fewer flaws.
Posted on 8/23/11 at 8:09 am to Bobby Moore
Who cares? He's a shitty QB!
Put all three QB's in the game and expect the same outcome! Ducks win this game Blind Fold!!
