Didn’t Josh get thrown out at second trying to stretch a single into a double? The confer fielder was a relief pitcher. Smith was hosed at 2nd. I think it was in game 2 and really hurt.

Baseball is so momentum driven that if we tie it up there and our crowd gets into it, we have a strong shot of winning that game.

Then we go to game 3 w/ Lange which any LSU fan would feel good about.

Yes, it’s an exercise of would-shoulda-coulda. But it shows you how much baseball can be a game of inches and momentum imo
