We need to commit fewer penalties. Bama’s already gonna get some free ones at critical times

Alabama going to press our receivers and force JD to beat them over the top. Going to be a difficult task with our freshman tackles versus 15 & 31. JD going to need to make them pay deep and with his legs. I don’t think we match up well on paper. But the game must be played and we’ve got as good a shot as any to pull off an upset. We can’t afford to start slow next week.

Perkins vs. Bryce, man-to-man defense. Attack, attack, attack

Use Perkins as a spy on Young the entire 1st half.

YES!! This guy can take it to the house on any play and they throw it to him A LOT out of the backfield. I suggest having Perkins spy on either him or Young. And Young does a lot of damage when he scrambles outside the pocket so we HAVE to put some pressure on him while containing him b/c he will carve you up if you rush 3 like we were doing vs Ole Miss in the first quarter and a half.

5) no special teams miscues

Use the defensive game plan from last year. Perkins all up in young’s arse all night. Give young time and he will pick apart our defensive backfield. On offense, keep doing what we’ve done versus Florida and ole miss. In special teams, keep dibert kicking it deep and on punt returns don’t even put a returner back there. Also put Polian on a leash and muzzle the bastard.
