How was Welter's performance today?

I saw him get in on some contact a few times, but I def saw him get burned many times. How the hell did we hold them to 10? Miracle.

Hard to rag on the guy tonight. A lot of the defense's success tonight was scheme. For all we know he saved a few broken plays.

I once said the same about Jacob Hester. A season of experience makes a huge difference.

I thought he made more than a few plays. Some were just pressures or forcing people out of bounds.

He played confident today... It's all about that for him

Lamin's play towards the sidelines that he stopped for a loss and got the block in the back call was one of the best from a linebacker I've seen all year

Speaking of quality backers ? Where was Kwon ?

Yep Welter definitely could be an NFL caliber player like Hester.

Yes you are right I see All-American in Welter's future and a high round NFL pick just like Minter.

Was Hester a LB? I recall him being a TB/FB. Maybe I missed something.

Pretty good. Got burnt on some of Manziel's scrambles, but who hasn't? Played contain pretty well tho.
