Me and my 13 year old will be attending our 2nd LSU game this weekend. After the 1st one, it became an addiction. What is the best time and place to get my son an autograph from one of the players? We will be at the college all day Saturday.

It is pretty much impossible.

If they let you, about 3 thousand guys will be right behind you.

Best bet is to go full blown stalker mode and catch them on a weekday.

You can try waiting outside the locker room after the game. You might have to wait a while and I'm sure you won't be the only one. Best thing to do is go to the fan day before the season starts.

you won't get close enough to them before the game.

Go to the locker room entrance after the game. Most of the players come out there.

I'm not from BR and I know traffic after the game is horrible. If I have to wait for a while to get the autograph, its no biggy. It will give time for the traffic to clear a little.

They all come out of the Lawton room and you can get an autograph or two. Normally takes them about 30-45 min to leave, but they kinda trickle out most of the time. Bring your kid there and you should be able to see some guys!

Yeah you should be able to wait outside the locker room for autographs. Their shouldnt be to many people outside of it because it's not a huge game, but still will probably have a slight crowd.

a bowl game is the best way to get multiple autographs. go to the planned activity that involves fans and you can get a ton.

As it has been said already, go outside the locker room after the game, and after about 20-30 minutes, the players start to exit...after the Auburn game my son had his picture taken with OBJ and Russell Shepherd.

I've taken my kids to wait outside the locker room twice (once this season and once last). It can take up to an hour for everyone to trickle through, but most of the players will stop if you get their attention. Bring a sharpie (or two - everyone passes them around), and bring something for them to sign (sounds stupid, but people get there and have nothing that makes sense so the players end up signing the kids' arm). They will also pose for photos.

Both times I've lucked out and stood next to players' moms - they know and call out to a lot of the players who walk through. They can't walk past mamma! Attach yourself to anyone who seems to recognize the players and call out their names to get their attention. I had my son say "Mr. Jefferson" or "Mr. Peterson" - the players kind of laugh at it, but it gets them to walk your way.

My son has an LSU hat from last year with PP7, JJ, Drake Nevis, Josh Jasper, and a few more I can't remember. This year we got a program signed by Honey Badger, Spencer Ware, Ron Brooks, Jarvis Landry, and Brad Wing. We got photos with most of those players as well. It's a lot of fun!

Usually, players families are all wearing jersey number of the player. Just start chatting them up as you wait and you should be golden.

agree completely with the recommendations of the others...be warned, though....you are gonna have to wait a good while and even then, it is not like any big autograph session or anything...

kinda cool to do it a time or so, particularly if you have kids who would really cherish that kind of thing...
