I sure hope we have another head coach next year! He has lost his fire, his teams have no fire and this is LSU baseball not ULL! He has turned into the Les Miles of LSU baseball. Time to put him out to the pasture!!

Can we at least let him complete two straight years of underachieving seasons before we say this? They were in the championship series two years ago and were national seeds for 6 straight seasons.

It is pretty sad to watch this team just going through the motions.

Sorry, but he isn't going anywhere. He says when it's time to go. and any one that thinks different is wrong.

Half this board would fire all coaches if they lose 2 games in a row. Sorry but he's safe.

I have always had faith in PM and will give him the benefit of the doubt but this team isn’t good. He looks disinterested. Maybe he’s tired, maybe his father’s passing is too much of a bourdon but It’s not looking good.

I seem to remember that ending with our best pitcher keeping the bench warm and a total collapse of our hitting (a dishearteningly common theme).

And “National Seed!” may help with recruiting, but it’s the ultimate participation trophy for a program with LSU’s history.

That said, with whom would we replace CPM? He’s still one of the better coaches out there and our ability to acquire another National Championship coach is going to be severely hindered with Alleva as AD and with a downright lethargic pace of baseball facility improvements.

What does this mean? Could you elaborate?

Being a national seed is such a fricking mediocre thing to brag about. It’s the baseball equivalent of pumping up preseason top 25 in football. Has LSU baseball really fallen this far?
