I wouldn't say "no way". VERY slight chance sums it up.

But a viable offer from the XFL would certainly give Burrow some excellent leverage.

Come on dude. There is ZERO way Joe goes to the XFL. I don't care how much money Vince throws at him. You are stupid even thinking this. BTW. The old A F L was doing just fine before Namath showed up.

Right, because Joe totally wants to go play with a bunch of shitty players for a championship that nobody cares about.

As bad as the Cincy org. Is they would tell Joe to take a hike if he brought up what the XFL may offer. You have lost your mind. Even though I think you are gonna get some of Joe's cash.....

Which brings us back to the question posed in the topic... how much would Joe Burrow be WORTH to the XFL?

Bottom line: Football is TV entertainment content. Guys like Burrow and Tua would skyrocket the XFL's Neilson ratings. Thus, vastly increase the value of the XFL.

You are naive beyond belief if you think McMahon isn't trying to find a way to bring players like Tua and Burrow into his league.
you think McMahon can compete with a $30+ million contract for the top guys?

Depends on how many viewers a Burrow or Tua etc bring to the table. If they spike viewership (like Broadway Joe did in the 1960's) then yes. They'd pay for themselves many times over.

If they don't spike viewership, then no.

McMahon's deal with Fox and ESPN is strictly based on viewership. He gets paid a share of ad revenues. Nothing else.

Burrow wouldn’t even answer his phone call man. It’s a ridiculous suggestion

I’ll take a guess.
I think it would take 40 mill per year to get him to play xfl over nfl.
Xfl can’t afford anything close to that.
He’s going to the NFL.

Burrow wouldn't be involved in such phone calls. Those would be handled by his agency - CCA... they are one of the world's largest entertainment agencies (they don't go weak in the knees when they hear big numbers)

I'll also take a guess... If Cincy tells Joe he'll be playing QB from under center in some offense similar to the 2018 LSU offense, then a fat paycheck from the XFL for a couple seasons (and a contract that calls for HIS offense) might look pretty damn tempting.

Why do you even start a thread like this????.. you have said how great Joe was but you are more worried about him going to the XFL??????

You have serious issues and are nothing more than an attention whore. You need help.

Murray signs with the Cardinals as the number 1 draft pick last year for $35 mil with $23 mil sign up bonus. McMahon has to bring $40 mil to the table with most of the money guaranteed to have a chance for players like Burrow. After all, the XFL may close its operations in a couple of years.

I would guess the odds against Burrow going to the XFL are 20 to 1 or steeper. But not zero.

Burrow would bring TV viewers from LSU, Ohio State, and some from the SEC and Big-10.

Would McMahon buy a property for $40 million if it was worth 3 or 4 mil to him? Of course not. Would he pay $40 million if it were worth $100 million to him? He'd be crazy not to.
