The loss was probably only about 85% his fault. 10% to the receivers who get lit up on his piss poor passes,

Were you drunk when you watched the game?

We dropped at LEAST 5 passes, maybe 6. Considering we caught 13, that is HORRIBLE!!

The WRs are just as much to blame as Lee. What are you talking about drops from getting lit up on poor passes? EVERY drop we had was dropped before our WRs got hit.

Byrd's pass, hit him right in the hands, off his shoulder pad, and was dropped BEFORE he got hit. That cost us 7 points. Mitchell's drop, cost us 7 more points. Just right there, Lee should have had 2 TDs and 3 INTs, no?

That is 14 points DIRECTLY on our WRs. They make those 2 catches and we have a very good shot at winning in regulation, which means Lee woulda had 2 TDs 2 INTs, and hadd in the 5 drops and he completes over 50% of his passes.

Not saying Lee was good by any stretch of the imagination, but to think he deserves so much more blame than the WRs is pretty funny.

even in the NFL, they drop at least 2 every game by each team.

They don't stay in the NFL dropping 2 a game.

2 drops or more per team a game on a routine basis.

Get off of Lee's crotch. He is not a good QB, as a matter of fact he is just BAD.

I was bone cold sober and in the stadium. And with the exception to Chris Mitchell on the long pass play up the right sideline, most of the time Lee threw the ball in an unlikely spot for the receiver to catch it. I remember early on in the game seeing Lee attempt to throw a simple slant route pass, and he threw the ball dead at the ground, as if he was spiking it.

I remember that.

Also the pass that was picked off of Byrd's hands. . .was poorly thrown, and Byrd would have had to make a phenomenal catch to pull it in. . .which he ALMOST did.

There is nothing phenomenal about catching a ball that hits you in the chest. While the ball wasn't thrown very well, it still hit him in the CHEST. I don't see how that would have been a phenomenal catch...

He had to spin to catch a pass that was behind him. He almost caught it off his back shoulder.

How about when he started to run towards what looked like a first down but then threw some sort of alley oop pass to nobody?

WTF was that?

Exactly.

No one is saying it was a great read or a great pass.

But the ball bounced right off of Byrd's hands and shoulder pads. A good WR has to make that catch, plain and simple. When the ball hits you in the shoulder pad, it's hard to say catching it would be "phenomenal."

I remember 2 drops by WRs,
one resulting in an interception
one resulting in a missed TD

the problem here is you choosing to ignore lee's piss poor play and the fact that it hurts this team much more than dropped passes, more than other people igonring the dropped passes

how many open receivers did brandon lafell miss last night?

how many interceptions did chris mitchell throw?

how many times did demetrius byrd throw the ball away instead of running 3 yards for a first down?

how many points did terrance toliver give the other team directly?

all of those questions are equally as interesting as the one you started this thread with.
EPIC BOOOOOM
