5-6 isnt that bad considering newton didnt come back and ingram beat the tigers on a last second field goal (if im not mistaken)

thing that makes it so hard is you dont have so many shots at these guys

what's the record during heisman season? rest of seasons don't matter relative to them being heisman winners.

So what is the official tally? Everyone posted something different?

And how did he do against them during their Heisman season?

Beat Manziel
Lost to Newton, Tebow, and Ingram

Honestly the defense did just about everything it could do against Newton. If not for two huge plays LSU wins it. Our offense once again killed us in that game

I don't think UTenn ever beat UF while Wuerrfel ('95 & '96) or Tebow ('06 - '08; and '09 at LSU) was QB'ing. Also, we were 1-2 vs Bama ('08 - '10) while Ingram was there.

I was just curious since Chief's been doing this awhile. IMO, the take away point if anything is that the guy has seen it all (fun-n-gun, option based, pro, spread, etc) and keeps improving and innovating. IMO, he's the beast LB position coach in CFB and if not THE best DC certainly among the best.

Kudos to Chief.
