So, how bad was the O-line?

It was bad enough for Lee to want to get rid of the ball before he even caught the snap. They were blown off the line all night. And our d-line got zero pressure. Was there even 1 single play for a loss?

However, the defense only allowed 14 points to Auburn; 7 came on Lee's pick-six.

But it's still more that Vandy gave up to Auburn!!!!

2nd play of the game. Stuffed the run, then enter the LSU secondary....

Per some moron yesterday they only scored on us when the game was well in hand. He also informed me that we didn't prepare for a WALK-ON qb, that was the problem...no biggie.

Well, to put this in true perspective, G Tech started their 3rd string QB vs Gardner-Webb and only won 10-7. How bad is MSU, G Tech beat them 38-7??? Oh, they beat Vandy Saturday. Hmmm. Maybe the SEC is really stinky. Is Gardner-Webb even a formerly classified 1-A team??

Yea that second play was before the nightmare so it was quickly forgotten. I'm just not sure we're as good as I thought. I mean I know the talent is there but we need to make some changes. I think Lee will develop into a good qb. If we don't start blitzing though I'm gonna lose it. I'm tired of these idiots thinking we have the best d-line to ever step on a football field. Send the house like muschamp used to. It was exciting then. If we get burned oh well. It's better than making our cb's chase around receivers for 10 seconds before the qb has to throw the ball. Blitzing also stuffs the run, but why would do anything the easy way.

The defense for UGA should be as follows, if no change occurs at SC:

DE S. Corley (no...I haven't seen him on anything other than a highlight film, but he's been called unreal and a specimen, etc. What is K Pittman doing that he can't? This is the next great DL at LSU and I am convinced of that)
DE T. Jackson
DT D. Nevis
DT RJ Francois

LB - R Baker
LB - D Beckwith
LB - C Jones (screw it...put him there...let him learn and be prepared for '09. He's capable)

CB - Eugene/Hawkins
CB - Peterson
SS - Coleman
FS - Taylor

does les realize this and/or care?

IMHO, he does not care, or he would never have promoted Pelini's proteges ... this defense is an extension of the Pelini era.
