Two run-heavy teams. Going to go by quick.

Wouldn't surprise me if they finish in less than 2:45.

hopefully we finish them off in time to hit some Starkville bars. Don't they close @ 12:30 or some dumb shite like that?

Can't happen - won't happen, especially a nationally televised, exclusive game like this. They will pad the commercial breaks in the second half if necessary. From kickoff to last whistle will be 2:55 if they run every down and don't call timeouts.

Just sayin'...

With a Thursday night game on ESPN there is no way it is possible. I wish it was, but it isn't.

I would agree except its on TV. ESPN will run enough commercials to fill three hours at least.

You could be right. I'm just reflecting on the history of televised college football games.

In any case you're correct in stating the game itself should be a quick one.

Commercials and those ridculous replay reviews will make anything under 330 impossible

Yes, but it's ESPN. "We will now take a 5 minute break for a commercial message from the company that sponsors that replay of a handoff on 2nd and 4."

Practically speaking, at 14:50 left in the 1st Quarter, after we run back the kick off for a TD. 7-0. Moo State done.

ESPN-wise, 3 1/2 hours

No chance barring some unforseen weather problem or light problem ending the game early.
