Three sacks and almost a fourth...can he step up and be a leader that this defense needs?

Looked fast as hell coming off of the edge. Very excited about him.

Umm yeah. True freshman at 6-2 230 with what 5-6 sacks through 4 games?!?!

Imagine what he will be doing at 245 lbs in the coming years. Scary.

He rushes the passer better right now better than Chaisson did last year. He has a lot of lateral quickness and uses his hands extremely well.

I liked Chaisson, but I believe he was a bit overhyped.

He was an he wasn’t, the injury bug got him a lot, but he came through in big games last year, would disappear when it didn’t matter though, which isn’t necessarily good, but he brought it on the big stages.

People forget Chassion was coming off a torn ACL the previous season. His last 4 games he was creating havoc and making qb's bail on the play.

Plays fast and is stronger than he looks. Good moves off the edge.

Chaisson may nave been overhyped as just an edge rusher. Thats a fair debate. But he was a baller, absolute stud.

Incredibly impressed

Next year:
Ojulari
Hampton (baseball dependent)
Stingley
Ward
Flott
Ricks

Defense will be good around the edges. We just need a few guys to step up in the middle. Hopefully sooner this season than later, or worse in the off-season. We have a lot of young talent in those DT and LB spots (Sampah, White, Lee, Roy, Guillory). We just need one of them to be given a shot like BJ and show that they deserve to be on the field.

You get a guy, preferably a strong willed LB, to step up and take leadership, not many teams will be able to stop these guys in 2021.

Natural predator

Fights for his life every second of every play and very explosive and savvy

You can almost see that he expects to beat the block and make a play. Most pass rushers we have you almost sense the opposite as if they are thinking they are going to get blocked. Kid has a great mindset
