Y'all forgot Jacory won the skills competition before his freshman year versus WR's.

Dude can ball. And yes, I'm biased.

Agreed. Here’s hoping our young QBs spend a lot of time with him over the summer. A good tight end can cover up a lot of mistakes.

No, many of us have not forgotten that, and are just hoping he blows up in what will be his last opportunity to do so. We’ve already seen this from several other Tigers, like Duke and Debo, to name a couple.

If Ensminger can use those formations like he called in the 2016 A&M game, that was the most creative utilization of the TE's since the wizard was calling the '07 National Championship game against Ohio State.

With a true passing QB and an open offense, Foster Moureau ‘could’ become one of the best pass-catching TE’s ever at LSU.

Would love to see this.

let me start by saying i usually enjoy your posts and i think you're a good poster. i say that because what I'm about to say is going to be viewed as being a huge dick.
there isnt a single bit of truth in this entire post.

in no way was steve ensminger one of the 1st to run a spread offense.
tom osborne in no way ran a spread offense
and we in no way used a bunch of spread against louisville

agreed. i always hated that Miles basically just used our TE spot as an extra olineman. a good pass catching TE can cause huge mismatches and should be a security blanket for your qbs.

eta: mommas boys suck.

This is on the first drive by LSU with LSU in the Spread against Louisville with Ensminger calling the plays. Big Mouth from somewhere called me a Liar! You know that Out House you use in the back yard go stick your head in it!

youre a decent poster and im not trying to argue with you.

3 wide in the gun doesnt make it a spread offense.

steve ensminger has never in his life run a spread offense.

tom osborne never ran a spread offense.

im not calling you a liar. im saying you dont know what youre watching.

FYI, Fosters 1st cousin is Hobie Hotard, former LSU tennis player, 4 time state champ. his younger brother is even better than that.

Ensminger ran his own offense over 20 years ago. Hasn't run anything since Clemson, except one year for Auburn (2008) and LSU (2016) and both were pro style and interim. Oh and running pro style with spread tendencies (2016) is not running the spread.

Can't understand why we didn't just hire a freaking spread OC, if O was actually intending to run spread.

You see how it doesn't make sense right?

Best games I've seen from a LSU TE recently have both happened vs Notre Dame. Best game I've seen from a TE since Dickson was Peterson vs Ole Miss. Guy should have had 3 TDs in that game.

You have to make the TE somewhat a focus of the offense, if not he'll just be a checkdown or a young QB's bail out guy.

We need to figure out a way to use Moreau more. Big tight ends like Kelce, Gronkowski, Graham, etc. are lethal if used properly and the best teams in the NFL do it regularly.

Moreau will have a monster year! Freak athlete. His family is born with athleticism in their genes. My brother coaches his sister at Sacred Heart and she might be a better athlete then Foster!
