i just hope we mix up the specific plays run from specific formations. worked real well in the arky game. of course, crowton only did it a few plays and then quit.

you severely over estimate Porter's "coaching" influence and you don't seem to understand what his real focus at LSU was.
ETA: and the Asst Head Coach title is basically a made up position that allows LSU to justify paying more money to a guy that is mainly a recruiter and is so good at it that he was honored for recruiting twice.
If you don't think Porter was an influence on Miles and which RB was getting carries you haven't been paying attention. Porter was a proxy for Miles. It was stated in several articles last year that Miles said, "Porter decides who the RB's are, what sets they are in, and what the rotation is".
