You can try and drive this down to data and tendencies and numbers all you want pal. At some point you just gotta play baseball. Watching 3rd strike because you thought it was going to be something different or it wasn’t your pitch, isn’t baseball.

Foul off the junk. Wait for a mistake. Win the fricking battle. Stop looking at 3rd strike.

Something nobody ever talks about is sometimes you’ll get these hot college girls and their like “If you watch a third strike right down the pipe I’ll slog your hog” or some shite.

I love Curiel, but the difference in the game last night was their best hitter hit a 2 strike hanging curve down the middle of the plate for a HR, and our best hitter watched a fast ball right down the middle. That was definitely disappointing to watch.

Probably waiting for "his pitch" to try and show off his power. He's focused on increasing his draft stock and has been all season.

You're so, so stupid.

he is a good college hitter, but if he is going to be a pro, he is going to have to learn to put a bat on pitches even when he guesses wrong. He has had this problem for a while...but he isn't the only hitter on the team with that problem. LSU watches too many good pitches go by and swings at pitches out of the zone. The hitting coach is as bad as the pitching coach....or at least close.
