How do you realistically see it playing out the rest of the year?

Wade doesn't coach another game this season. Our inspired bunch beats a terrible Vandy team tomorrow night, and we share a championship (for now) with Tennessee. We head into the tourney with the interim head coach, we out-talent at least the first two rounds, and by the Sweet 16, we get bounced because at this point, we're playing damn good teams and head coaches are head coaches for a reason.
Wade gets canned in April arouud trial time and shite really starts hitting the fan, and it's a very painful summer for LSU hoops fans. We get throttled by the NCAA, and a limping basketball program heads into the next season with the interim (who our AD will remind us led LSU to a couple tourney wins and is the perf man for the job) leading the charge. Our SEC co-championship and sweet 16 is laughed at for years to come.
I'd love for this to be bumped down the road and called a croweating shithead fwiw.

Wade returns in a few weeks, we make it to the finals in the SECT, make it to sweet 16/elite 8 (final four possible if players use this as motivation), Wade goes to trial, nothing happens.

Realistically? Basketball team sputters in both tournaments. Wade is canned and replaced with some mediocre no-name. Nothing actually comes of the cheating allegations, but recruiting is fricked. Alleva and Alexander survive because the BoS continues to not care.
