It has always puzzled me when LSU fans have asked...where is the best place to watch in Denver.. NYC...0rlando. You have a hotel room, don't you? I don't want to watch the game with some quasie LSU fans. I prefer to watch alone in my hotel room.

I prefer to watch alone. I can't stand watching with ppl who like to second guess every questionable f'n play call or the persistent Miles-bashing. I'd rather enjoy (or be pissed) alone than have someone spouting their know-it-all opinion for 4 quarters.

I'll be having a bunch of people over and cooking all day. Will have TVs on the patio as well as the one in the living room. Partying all day is the best way to handles games like this.

Hopefully the weather cooperates.

I like to watch in my house with only my wife where I can be as emotional as I want. Like others have said, I can't stand to be around the negatigers losing it over every questionable call and people who don't understand the game (although my wife can slip into both categories from time to time). I've done this every game this year, no reason to change it up now.

If I am back home in Baton rouge though, I do like watching with my Dad. We watch football in the exact same way. You can tell I grew up watching the Tigers next to him .

Why is it sad? I like to do a lot of things socially. Watching LSU on tv just doesn't make that list.

I guess I just look at football as more fun to do socially and can't imagine wanting to watch a big game like this alone.

I DVR and then watch later. For some reason watching live is just too emotional for me. I follow the crawler on the bottom of the screen of the game I'm currently watching so I know the outcome going along but still, it's better for me to watch the DVR of the game then live.

You are responding to a person who has stated that he would rather go to a wedding than watch a LSU game. Don't waste your time with him.

What's wrong Lunch, can't find a wedding to go to this weekend?

This thread explains a lot about why this place is ridiculous as it is.

I need to start doing this. I'll be found dead in my living room in front of the TV one day if I don't.

It's definitely not as painful or emotionally draining watching the recording when you know the outcome.

In the theater room in my basement alone. The wife will lock me in from the outside so there's no chance I can hurt her or the dog when the inevitable happens. She will let me out once the emotion has passed.

. It is totally dependent on personality. Introverts like myself prefer to watch alone. Extroverts with people. It's pretty simple really.

My sentiments exactly.

If I'm around family and friends, if the game becomes a joke, you have what is really important in life to focus on. Turn your focus there.

I quit watching games alone around the 2001 time frame.

I should. I see everything, read everything, evaluate the games, and everything tells me that LSU should win this game. They are clearly a few inches ahead of Bama. Should be not a comfortable victory, but they really should win.

But them I remember it's fricking Bama, and shite just happens.
