If this crew wants any shot of working post-season they better call it even. But my question is, do they call it tight and try to over-manage, or let the boys play?? Last year against Clemson, saban wasn't getting his normal drive-extending B.S.calls and was crushed.

Hands on.

Touching the best ones.

I wouldn't be able to hold myself back.

Depends on Vegas, Stankey arse and the Bama a...s in the SEC Gestapo office, REC and what the Cajun Mafia can do under the radar as far as a counter offer. Oh...and Woodward effect will be tested. All of the above will decide how tight or loose the interpretations of the so called rules are interpreted:).

Tom Ritter heads up the replay officials. Need I say more?

So far the Woodward effect has been negligible at best. I wouldn’t bank on him to be able to save us from the REC. Sankey and his goons have proven that they don’t care what anyone thinks about them. Whether the officiating is corrupt or just plain incompetent, it doesn’t matter. It’s not changing anytime soon.

That is all possible. Follow the money and the connections of the Zebra m...f..s. Stankey arse is the kind of guy who should have had his lunch money stolen when he was a school boy and deserved his nose busted a couple of times.

This is how...I see nothing...I hear nothing...I say nothing...go bama. Is this sarcasm or truth?

They’re going to handle it as professionally and evenly as they can, which is what they always have done in recent years. They are human, so they will make mistakes. They will miss calls and make phantom calls against both teams. The low self-esteem losing fans (LSELF) will think there was a referee conspiracy, especially if the losing team is a perennial loser. The fans of the winning team will soon forget the bad calls. The LSELFs will remember the bad calls for decades.

I would not say that. You need to pay more attention:).

There is no “conspiracy”. The refs are not purposefully calling penalties in favor of Bama. Bama isn’t actively paying refs for favorable calls. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t discrepancies.

The truth is, the refs are human and humans have tendencies based solely on evolution. One of those “tendencies” is the belief that the “alpha” of the group makes less mistakes. Again, this is an evolutionary trait that was needed in the past to ensure the survival of the group. Bama has been considered “alpha” for a long time now in the public eye. Right or wrong, the view is that they have “the best players in college football”, or rather, “the alpha player in college football”, if you will. So when I ref sees a hold or some other infraction perpetrated by Bama players, he questions himself longer “did that really happen”. The longer he questions himself the more the chance he’s going to go with his evolutionary instincts. And that circles back around to “the alpha doesn’t make mistakes”.

You see it all the time in professional sports. The “bog boy” pitchers get a larger strike zone in baseball, the “star basketball player” gets that half step extra from a traveling call or didn’t really charge the defensive player, that ball that the top tennis player hit that lamded right on the out of bounds marker was “probably in bounds”, etc....
