but you seem to think this is the only fanbase out there that levels criticism at the head guy based on high expectations

Who then, give me a name, of any College Coach averaging 10.2 Wins per season, getting close to the sheer amount of shite Miles is?

Just 1 name...

If the offense looks ok, the defense is adequate. LSU plays in a decent bowl and wins some of the fanbase will be passified for now.
The one thing you are assuming, is that Miles actually wants to stay at LSU.

If you were him, would you?

Would you have the WANT to deal with this clown during the season?

UF had the same record in 2007 with the Jesus at QB.

They did. Lost 4 games after winning the NCG. Followed it up with another NCG though.

SEC is a tough conference and will only get more difficult with better coaching hires. More money thrown at top candidates. SEC is dog eat dog and you need only to go back 10 years and look at the coaches at various programs then, and where they are now.

Its not for the faint of hear, its big business and winning cures all.

Had a friend who coached baseball in the SEC. What Miles is going through at LSU is nothing new. Hell, fan threw a brick at Sabans window during his first pathetic season there. Miles is a big boy, he knows the routine.

Miles isn't getting a deal anything close to what he has at LSU, anywhere else.

Why does anyone care how "outsiders perceive" a coach in good standing within our community?

It's almost like some need outside validation to be content.

The day I need feedback from OSU fans after our taking them down for the count, is the day I need to turn in my LSU fan badge.

Of course he knows the routine. But you couldn't come up with 1 name of a Coach averaging 10 wins per season, who's getting even close to the amount of shite like Miles.

Why is that? Doesn't that ever cross your mind?

Miles has plenty of other options..don't be a fool.

Not gonna figure Bob Stoops record, but I can promise you another season like last and his seat will be pretty darn warm. 4 or 5 losses will start the rumor mill going for those folks in Norman.

I don't know what offers Les has. May have dozens with as much money as LSU is willing to pay him. Who knows. But I doubt it. The best interest for LSU and coach Miles is for Miles to succeed at LSU and build a team that will again contend for the SEC title.

I agree, that would be the best scenario. But 90% of the people on TD.com want him gone. I wonder what Miles wants? Does he want to spend the rest of his coaching career in an atmosphere where Saban is everything?

There are some interesting jobs that will be coming open..

Rocket,
Are you gonna be driving one of the Miles Maniacs Buses this year?

I drive the lead bus. My bus is bigger, has more horsepower, and has more bells and whistles. I dictate when the caravan goes and stops and where we go.

The horsepower will compromised by the Sabanistas hanging on the bumper trying to derail the caravan. What will you do to eradicate the problem?

One former player and avid fan from the big 12 told me, on Miles' hire date, that he would drag our program down, and that we would start seeing boneheaded coaching moves during games, that would leave us feeling like:

His prediction has been mostly correct. He said to me a few weeks ago "go look at the Okie state boards from 03 and 04 and look what some of their fans were saying". I haven't done it. No time.

I don't care who the coach is as long as he is successful. I never had any particular personal loyalty to any LSU coach.

My loyalty is to the institution and I always want the sports programs, especially football, to succeed. If a coach isn't getting it done, the institution needs to go in another direction, all personal prejudices and loyalties aside.

The problem here, as I see it, is the intense personal devotion or animosity many LSU fans seem to feel for a given coach. Here, it seems you either love Miles and want to keep him forever, or you hate him and want him gone last year.

the program is bigger than any one man. Let the results speak for themselves. If we go back to contending for the SEC title/BCSNC again, I will be happy regardless of who is at the helm.

Seriously, you are going to throw up this softball and not expect someone to hit it out of the park? I'll give you 3 reasons: (there are many more)
- he comes across as a fool in interviews
- he won't give up any information about the team to a starved and rabid fanbase
- he has made at least 5 FOOLISH coaching decisions on national TV (fortunately for him, a few of them worked out or he would have been fired already)

Yeah, right. Maybe head coach of Miami of Ohio or a WAC team.

don't be a fool.
The fact that you can't even see why about 80% of the national CFB audience and the sports media thinks he's an idiot most likely qualifies you for this position.

You are the leader of the rantards guiding little sheep into the land of stupidity! You were the same moror heaping praises on him when they won in 2007 and will be back on your knees with mouth wide open when they win again this year. I guess if you don't have a woman to satisfy at home, you spend your nights coming up with crap like this. And, for the rest of you, GET A FREKKIN LIFE!!!

Also something that is lost with the Coker situation is he never put out an elite season in the ACC.

hard to win the ACC when you are part of the Big East for your first 3 years. I'm still waiting on an "elite" SEC finish from Miles. We got blown out in the SECCG his first year, lost 2 SEC games to shite teams in 2007 and havent even sniffed an SEC West title in any other year.

A "fan" of the Big 12 would like to see someone who he thinks is a bad coach gone? Wouldn't that make the prospect of Okie State hiring some hot shot that would roast his team.

Were they similar to the negative things that the MSU fans said about Sabvan after he fu cked them over to come to LSU?
